Nor, did I ever imagine I would enjoy being called "Daddy," "Mommy-Pete", "Daddy-Pete," or "Mommy-Daddy" as much as I do...I'm looking forward to more time with Maya.

Being A Daddy
I never realized how much I would enjoy Maya's morning mantra of "Daddy...cocoa...George...couch."
I never realized how mesmerized I would be watching my little monkey fanatic sleep. I never realized how much I would melt when I heard the words "Daddy...hug...kiss!"

Nor, did I ever imagine I would enjoy being called "Daddy," "Mommy-Pete", "Daddy-Pete," or "Mommy-Daddy" as much as I do...I'm looking forward to more time with Maya.

Family Update
A lot has happened since our last blog...thanks to my Dad, Maya can now say "dang-it" very clearly and thanks to our bed-time ritual Maya walks all around the house singing her dolls to sleep and asking us to pray for people randomly throughout the day AND we have moved. That being said we have also resigned from the positions we held in Reno. We are temporarily in Ohio where Kim is looking for a travel nurse position and I'm hopefully going to start substitute teaching and finish off my MDiv. before our next big adventure...Army Chaplaincy. We are hoping that things will stay on target and I will arrive for training in June and then we will go to our first assignment in September. Here are a few pictures from the last week or so in Ohio, including Maya on her toddler bed that Papa Robinson, Kim and I made for her.

A catch up on the summer

Kim and I have continued to have a lot of fun times with Maya. Watching her grow has been a blast and it's amazing to see how the older she gets, the more fun she is. We have been blessed to have such a healthy girl with a great spirit and heart! If she's at all like her Mom, I will be in for quite a treat as her father. Kim has continued to work the night shift in the ER and has been doing quite well...she has gotten a couple intense certifications and is now qualified to work triage, which is a pretty big deal. I finished up the summer with several good hiking trips with my students, swims out at Lake Tahoe and local swimming pools, plus camping trips, a mission trip and lots of one on one time getting smoothies with students at Keva juice. The summers in youth ministry are great. We would appreciate your continued prayers and support for our family and I've posted some great pictures from the summer months with the Robinsons.
